Pure pop for now people ...

The starting point for the fifth issue of Your Heart Out was not being able to get the Motors' Forget About You out of my head, which was intriguing as I hadn't heard the song in years. But I guess that proves the power of a great song. So I backtracked and started having a bit of a listen to the Motors. Airport, for example, being a song that instantly brought back the summer of 1978. Funny how you remember summers by the records ...

Then I heard Dancing The Night Away again. This was a song I loved at the peak of the punk explosion, as a kid, but I learned that the Motors weren't cool. Right. Well, at least they didn't have beards like Joy Division. Hmm ...

Anyway, Dancing The Night Away. The full length album version is six and a half minutes of pop perfection. With no guitar solos. Just ... well, have a listen. Go on ... add some sunshine to your day!
